Yes. Mamentum is completely free to download and use. Every feature, matching, Circles, events, messaging, the directory, is available to you at no cost.

Facebook groups can be helpful, but they were not designed with your safety or experience in mind. Mamentum was purpose-built for single mamas, with privacy controls, local matching, curated Circles, and a space designed for real connection instead of engagement metrics.

Everything here is intentional. Your feed is not competing with an algorithm.

Not at all. You can browse, join a Circle, and just read. There is no pressure to share before you are ready. This is your space, at your pace.

Your safety is foundational to how Mamentum is built. Your profile is only visible to other verified members, never searchable on the internet. You control what you share, who sees it, and how you show up.

We also have Quick Exit. Shake your phone to disguise the app instantly, for moments when you need that extra layer of protection.

You are always in control. In your settings, you will find "Delete or Pause Account." You can pause for a day, a week, or indefinitely. Your data stays safe and you just sign back in when you are ready.

If you want to permanently delete your account, there is a separate path with a 4-step confirmation. It is truly permanent, so we make sure it is what you want.

Circles are themed communities within Mamentum where mamas connect around shared experiences. Think of them as your go-to spaces, whether that is a circle for divorced mamas, first-time single mamas, mamas navigating co-parenting, or mamas who just want to talk about something other than parenting for five minutes.

Each Circle has its own chat, events, and resources.

Finding your people should not feel like a search engine. MomMatch surfaces other mamas near you who actually get it: mamas with kids the same ages, navigating a similar season of life, with parenting styles and interests that align with yours. Whether you are outdoorsy, a total homebody, a working mama running on four hours of sleep, or a mix of all of the above, you will see people who match your vibe, not just your zip code.

When you find someone you want to connect with, you send a request. She sees it and decides if she wants to connect too. If it is mutual, you can start messaging. No unsolicited contact, no pressure, just two mamas choosing each other.

The Mamentum calendar is not a generic planner. It was built specifically for how single mamas actually live, around custody schedules, childcare gaps, and the mental load of figuring out when you are actually free.

Here is what it does:

• Tracks your custody schedule privately. Set up your custody pattern once, week on/week off, every other weekend, split week, or fully custom, and your days automatically color-code so you always know at a glance when your kids are with you. Your co-parent cannot see it, access it, or know it exists. No shared views, no co-parent accounts. It is yours alone.
• Works with your existing schedule. Already tracking your custody dates in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or any other app? Export your schedule as a calendar file (.ics) and upload it directly into Mamentum, no re-entering anything, no app-to-app connection required. One-off changes like holiday swaps can be overridden with a single tap after import.
• Helps you find time with other mamas. You can share your availability, not your schedule details, never event titles or personal information, just your free/busy status. Other mamas can see when you are both open so you can land on a coffee date or a kids’ playdate without a 12-text back-and-forth. You stay in control of what is visible and can revoke access anytime.
• Alerts you when you’ll need a sitter. When you RSVP to an event on a day your kids will be with you, the app catches the conflict before it becomes a problem. You will see the flag right away, so you can line up childcare while you still have time, not at 9pm the night before.
• Shows you your upcoming free time. The app reads your custody schedule and surfaces your next kid-free windows before you even think to check, so you can actually plan for yourself.
• Keeps everything in one view. Every event you RSVP to in Mamentum appears on your calendar alongside your custody days, no switching between apps to see your full picture.

Yes. Mamentum features local events and hangouts, from coffee meetups and park playdates to workshops and mama nights out. You can browse by type and location, RSVP, and see who else is going. You can also create your own.

It is a peer-powered directory of professionals, places, and resources that other mamas have personally used and recommend: therapists, SLPs, pediatricians, lawyers, kids’ books, museums, and more. No paid placements. Just real recommendations from mamas who have been there.

Every day, Mamentum shows you a quote from a library of 550+ pieces written and curated specifically for single mamas. Not motivational fluff. Not "hang in there." Quotes that actually land, on the hard custody drop-off days, the proud moments no one else claps for, the late nights when you wonder if you are doing any of this right.

Only other verified Mamentum members. Your profile is never public, never indexed by search engines, and never visible to anyone outside the app. You decide what to share and can update your privacy settings anytime.

No. Messaging in Mamentum is mutual. Both mamas have to agree to connect before either of you can send a message. No cold messages, no unsolicited contact, no strangers sliding into your inbox. You choose who gets access to you, every single time.

And if you ever change your mind about someone, you can block them at any time from their profile. Blocking is immediate, silent, and permanent. They will not be notified, they will not be able to see your profile, and they will not be able to contact you again.

Quick Exit is a safety feature. Shake your phone and the app instantly disguises itself, so if someone picks up your phone or glances at your screen, Mamentum is not visible. It is designed for mamas in sensitive situations who want that extra layer of protection.

Crisis resources are always accessible inside the app, no searching required. If you or someone you know is in immediate danger, the app connects you directly to relevant hotlines and support services. You are not alone, and reaching out is strength.
