Mamentum caregiver texts
If you got a text about a mom running late, it probably came from Mamentum. This page explains why, what those texts say, and how to stop them.
Who sends these texts
Mamentum is an iOS app for single moms. It is operated by Nunely Productions LLC. The program is called Mamentum caregiver texts. It sends short, one-off texts to the people a Mamentum member counts on for backup, like a sitter, a grandparent, or a close friend.
How your number gets added
- A Mamentum member adds you to her backup list in the app. She types in your name and your mobile number herself.
- Saving your number does not send you anything. The app tells her: "We won’t reach out to them unless you tap the button."
- A text goes out only when she taps a button in the app to let you know she is running late or may need a hand.
- You do not need a Mamentum account, and you are never signed up for anything else.
What the texts say
Each text includes the member’s first name and tells you how to stop. For example:
Jess is running ~15 min late for Soccer pickup. Reply STOP to opt out.
That is the whole message. We never send marketing or promotional texts to caregivers.
How often
Message frequency varies. You only get a text when the member taps to send one. Mamentum also caps how many texts one member can send in an hour.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Mamentum never charges you for these texts.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any text and you will not get more texts from that number. You can also email support@mamentumapp.com and ask us to remove your number.

Your number and your privacy
- Your number is saved in the member’s private backup list. It is used only to send the texts described on this page.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.
- Texts are delivered through our SMS provider, Twilio.
- Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts can be late or missed if your phone is off, out of range, or your carrier blocks them.
